Today's Bible Verse
The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom;they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves. Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done. NIV
Isaiah 3:9-11

Heavenly Father we know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God. Please open our eyes and help us to open the the eyes of other so that we are not deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of us were. But we were washed, we were sanctified, we were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Please give us boldness to speak and teach the truth to those who are being lead astray by Satan. In Jesus precious name I pray, Amen. (1 Corinthians 6)
The Widow's Oil (2 Kings 4)
1 The wife of a man from the company of the prophets cried out to Elisha, "Your servant my husband is dead,
and you know that he revered the LORD. But now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves."
2 Elisha replied to her, "How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?"
"Your servant has nothing there at all," she said, "except a little oil."
3 Elisha said, "Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don't ask for just a few. 4 Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side."
5 She left him and afterward shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. 6 When all the jars were full, she said to her son, "Bring me another one." But he replied, "There is not a jar left." Then the oil stopped flowing.
7 She went and told the man of God, and he said, "Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left."
We serve a God of abundant mercy and provision. He supplies the spiritual and physical needs of His children.
Our God is the God of Hope and "The Lord Will Provide" (Genesis 22:14). God is the master provider of needs
both great and small. His storehouse of blessing never goes empty.
Contrary to the very popular "health and wealth gospel" God does not always provide by heaping new and luxurious
things upon us. Many times God’s provision is a miracle of stretching what one already has to meet a need.
God has the power to make a little go a long way. The Lord can provide a feast in the wilderness (Psalms 78:19-28).
Yesterday’s manna can supply nourishment for today (Exodus 16:29). God can feed five-thousand with five
loaves and two fish and still have leftovers! (Mark 14:21, 16:9). And if God can supply grace for Paul
instead of removing his thorn, God can provide grace for us (2 Corinthians 12:9).
