Today's Devotional
Lord, you are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them, who by the mouth of Your servant David have said: Why did the nations rage, and the people plot vain things? The kings of the earth took their stand, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against His Christ. For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herrod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, we are gathered together to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done. Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your work, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus. Amen Acts 4:24-30
Sharing a todays scripture verse and a personal message with someone you know is a great way to touch a persons heart and encourage them on a daily basis. Remember, although you and your friend get the same bible verse, chances are you won't get the same message because God uses the Holy Spirit to speak to each of us individually. You are so important to God that He speaks to "you" for your life because He knows you so very well and He knows exactly what you need today. Our desire and hope is that He touches your friends life in the same way that He touches yours through these simple verse a day.
