The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom;they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves. Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done. NIV Isaiah 3:9-11
Today's Devotional
Heavenly Father we know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God. Please open our eyes and help us to open the the eyes of other so that we are not deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of us were. But we were washed, we were sanctified, we were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Please give us boldness to speak and teach the truth to those who are being lead astray by Satan. In Jesus precious name I pray, Amen. (1 Corinthians 6)
Verse - Romans 13:11-14 And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature. NIV
Devotional Heavenly Father,
I desire to be obedient by being strong in the Lord and the power of Your might. I recognize that it is essential to put on the armor that you have provided, and I do so now with gratitude, praise and faith as effective spiritual protection against the spiritual forces of darkness.
I confidently take the belt of truth. I take Jesus who is the Truth as my strength and protection. I ask for wisdom and discernment to believe, live, speak and know only the truth.
Thank you for the breastplate of righteousness. By faith I appropriate the righteousness of Jesus Christ, and ask you, Jesus, to walk in Your holiness in my life today.
Thank you Lord, for the shoes of peace. I desire that my feet should stand on the solid rock of peace and that as I walk in obedience to you, the God of peace promises to walk with me.
Eagerly, Lord, I lift up the shield of faith. By faith, I trust in you to be a complete and perfect shield. I recognize that my mind is a target of Satan's deceiving ways and I take the helmet of Salvation, recognizing that the Lord Jesus Christ is my salvation. I shield my head with Him, and invite His mind to be in me.
With joy I take hold of the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, affirming that it is the infallible word of God. Enable me to use Your word not only to defend me from Satan, but also to claim its promises.
Thank you dear Lord, for prayer. Help me to keep this armor well oiled with prayer. I desire to pray at all times with depth and intensity as the Holy Spirit leads me. Grant me a burden for others in God's family and enable me to see their needs and assist them through prayer as the enemy attacks them.
All these things I ask in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, my Lord, Amen.
Verse - Romans 8:5-8 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, BUT THE MIND CONTROLLED BY THE SPIRIT IS LIFE AND PEACE; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.
Devotional Abba Father, sanctify me in truth! Your word is truth! In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Verse - Romans 12:9-13 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another, not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. NKJV
Devotional Father, there is no God besides You. You will gird me, though I have not known You, that I may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides You. You are the Lord, and there is no other; You form the light and create darkness, You make peace and create calamity; You, the Lord, do all these things! Amen Isaiah 45:5-7
Verse - Romans 11:17-21 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. NIV
Devotional Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?” “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?” For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
Verse - Romans 12:9-13 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation continuing steadfastly in prayer, distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. NKJV
Devotional Father give me the strength to bless those who persecute me, rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. Help me to be of the same mind toward everyone and not set my mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Help me to not be wise in my own opinion, repay no one evil for evil and have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it depends on me, help me to live peaceably with all people. In Jesus precious name I pray, Amen.
Verse - Romans 8:28-30 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called, whom He called, these He also justified, and whom He justified, these He also glorified. NKJV
Devotional Father I know that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
Verse - Romans 16:17-18 I urge you brothers to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.
Devotional Father I know that for those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, You will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil. But glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good. (Romans 2:6-10) I stand on Your Words Lord that you will provide to me glory, honor, eternal life and peace, as long as I do good, in Jesus Mighty name I pray, Amen.
Verse - Romans 14:10-13 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written: As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother's way.
Devotional Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all our iniquities, who heals all our diseases, who redeems my life from destruction, who crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies my mouth with good things, so that my youth is renewed like the eagle's. In Jesus mighty and precious name I pray, Amen.
Verse - Romans 8:28--29 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. NKJV
Devotional Blessed be God, I have given and it is given unto me good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. I have abundance; there is no lack. My God meets my need according to His riches in glory. The Lord is my Shepherd, and I do not want. I say, in the name of Jesus, that every disease, germ, and virus that touches my body dies instantly. No weapon formed against me will prosper, and whaterver I do will prosper. I have the mind of Christ and the wisdom of God is available to me. I am far from oppression. I have no fear of terror for it shall not come near me. In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.
Verse - Romans 14:5-9 In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable. Those who worship the Lord on a special day do it to honor him. Those who eat any kind of food do so to honor the Lord, since they give thanks to God before eating. And those who refuse to eat certain foods also want to please the Lord and give thanks to God. For we don’t live for ourselves or die for ourselves. If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Christ died and rose again for this very purpose—to be Lord both of the living and of the dead.
Devotional Heavenly Father I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever. I will praise You forever, because You have done it; and in the presence of Your saints I will wait on Your name, for it is good. In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.
Verse - Romans 5:3-4 More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,

Verse - Romans 8:33-34 Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. NKJV
Devotional Jesus I am so indebted to You. Thank you for all that You have done and continue to do for me. Help me to remember that You are interceding for me in all things and if you are for me Teacher, who can be against me. In Your name I pray, Amen.
Verse - Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
Devotional Father, I believe and live by faith that You are in control of everything seen and unseen happening in this world, in my life and in the lives of those who surround me. I know that Your salvation exists for all of us who believe in Your son Jesus Christ. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah! I Praise You Father!
Verse - Romans 16:17-18 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. NKJV
Devotional Father help me to be wise in what is good and simple concerning evil. I know that you will crush Satan under my feet shortly. I am waiting Lord for you to move, it all is in Your hands. In Jesus mighty and precious name I pray, Amen.
Verse - Romans 2:1-2 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. But we know that the judgement of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. NKJV
Devotional Heavenly Father forgive me for judging others. Make me see how judging not only hurts others but hurts me also and removes me from Your presence. If I find myself in the midst of people who are unkind, selfish, self involved, backstabbing, whether they be friends, family or enemies, give me the courage to remove myself entirely from their presence and learn that some things are best loved from a distance and I need to be wise and guard my own heart and actions. Help me to be careful of what I surround myself with Lord. In Jesus precious name I pray, Amen.
Verse - Romans 8:5-6 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. NKJV
Devotional Abba Father help me to forgive those who knowingly hurt me because they live life according to their own agenda not yours Lord. Father forgive them for they know not what they do. My eyes are on You Lord, use me and guide me for Your purposes Father, protect me from the liars, cheaters and selfish acts of people who have been blinded by Satan who is of this world. I love you Father. In Jesus precious name I pray, Amen.
Verse - Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. NKJV
Devotional Heavenly Father give me a longing for more of Christ. I want to desperately sit in His presence because Jesus is the only happiness there is in this world. I have tasted and seen that You are good and I want all of You. In Your Precious and Glorious name Jesus, Amen.
Verse - Romans 1:18-21 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they know God, they did not glorify Him as God nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Devotional Heavenly Father give me the strength to always be the barer of Your truth regardless as to how painful the situation may become. For what You reveal through Your Holy Spirit can mean life our death for all whom You love. Help me to remain steadfast and a sturdy tree with roots planted deep in Your Word so that I can withstand the most difficult of storms. In Jesus mighty name. Amen
Verse - Romans 10:11 The scripture says, "No one who believes in him will be put to shame."

Verse - Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.(KJV)
Devotional 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Verse - Romans 8:18-19 18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. NIV
Verse - Romans 5:3-4 3 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Verse - Romans 13:2 2 Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. NIV
Verse - Romans 14:10-13 10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written: As I live, says the Lord, "Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God."
12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
13 Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother's way.
