I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unit of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. We are to imitate God as a child does his own father. If a child imitates his father, he will walk like him, talk like him and pattern his every move after him. We should do no less after our Father, God. When you study the life of Jesus you find several important facts that caused Him to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. These are a few: 1. He spent much time in prayer, but He never prayed the problem, He prayed the answer - what God said is the answer. 2. He spoke accurately, never crooked speech. His conversation always consisted of what God said. 3. He always spoke the ends results, not the problem. Never - did He confess present circumstances. He spoke the desired results. 4. Father You tells us repeatedly through Your word what must be done in order for us to combat the many evil spirits in this world that are used specifically to tear us to the ground, depress us and keep us in bondage away from the Light that only You can provide. You tell us Lord, My people perish from lack of knowledge! I am asking You Father in Jesus name to remove the blinders that have been put in place to block Your light and discount Your holy power for all of us to overcome the darkness in this world. Help us to focus on Jesus, the true light that never diminishes. Amen

Heavenly Father help me to not ignore these issues of the heart because they will grieve the Holy Spirit and my growth will be stunted. Bitterness is a refusal to let go of an old wound or forgive a past wrong. Wrath is a stronghold of resentment with the hope to gain revenge. Anger is exasperation, a quick explosive outburst or a slow burn of indignation toward someone. Evil speaking are words that tear down, the opposite of edifying someone, it is malicious and hurtful. Clamor is a sudden outburst over nothing, to cause a scene rather than trying to help or heal. Malice is the desire to see someone else suffer, it is a devilish spirit and it's usually hidden deep within the heart. Putting these things away from us is a process and it is a matter of growth that takes time. At times, we may fail at ridding ourselves of these evils. But if we quickly repent, and commit to making things right with the person, over time these issues will fade away. Only with Your help Heavenly Father can I be a pure Christian, please guide me. In Jesus Precious name, Amen

Heavenly Father, help me to understand that those who use gossip, slander, fraud, manipulation, cunning, craftiness, deception and underhandedness are Your rebellious children. They haven't allowed God's grace to do a work in them. Give me the strength to not react to them in childish ways, for you do not want me to react with childishness. Help me to view these as opportunities to become more Christlike, respond softly, with a meek spirit and forgive those who spitefully use me. In Jesus precious name I pray.
