The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom;they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves. Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done. NIV Isaiah 3:9-11
Today's Devotional
Heavenly Father we know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God. Please open our eyes and help us to open the the eyes of other so that we are not deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of us were. But we were washed, we were sanctified, we were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Please give us boldness to speak and teach the truth to those who are being lead astray by Satan. In Jesus precious name I pray, Amen. (1 Corinthians 6)
Verse - 1 Timothy 4:12-16 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you. NKJV
Devotional I will go in the strength of the Lord God; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only. O God, You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I declare Your wondrous works. Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come. In Jesus mighty and precious name I pray, Amen.
Verse - 1 Timothy 5:9-15 Let no one be put on the roll of widows who are to receive church support who is under sixty years of age or who has been the wife of more than one man, and she must have a reputation for good deeds, as one who has brought up children, who has practiced hospitality to strangers of the brotherhood, washed the feet of the saints, helped to relieve the distressed, and devoted herself diligently to doing good in every way. But refuse to enroll on this list the younger widows, for when they become restive and their natural desires grow strong, they withdraw themselves against Christ and wish to marry again. And so they incur condemnation for having set aside and slighted their previous pledge. Moreover, as they go about from house to house, they learn to be idlers, and not only idlers, but gossips and busybodies, saying what they should not say and talking of things they should not mention. So I would have younger widows marry, bear children, guide the household, and not give opponents of the faith occasion for slander or reproach. For already some widows have turned aside after Satan. Devotional Heavently Father thank you for your word that answer all questions we may have concerning any type of situation that may present itself to us. Help us to remember that You Father are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. So that all things written in Your Word hundreds of years ago, apply exactly in our world today. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Verse - 1 Timothy 6:6-8 Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. NKJV
Devotional Father I know that the world today would say to me “You have nothing to show that the world perceives as important. You have no savings, no investments. All you have is a change of clothes.” I know what I want my answer to be: “Oh, but I’ve won Christ. I tell you, I’m the winner. I’ve found the pearl of great price. Jesus granted me the power to lay down everything, and take it up again myself. Well, I laid it all down, and now a crown awaits me. I have only one goal in this life: to see my Jesus, face to face. All the sufferings of this present time can’t be compared with the joy that awaits me.” In Jesus Glorious name I pray, Amen.
Verse - 1 Timothy 6:10 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. NKJV
Verse - 1 Timothy 4:12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
